Frequently Asked Questions
Please find some commonly asked questions below, should you require any further help or advice please call us on the number shown above or email us using the contact page.

Q. What happens when I decide I want to leave my property?
Most tenants will have signed a fixed term tenancy for either 6 or 12 months, in most circumstances you will be unable to leave your property until this fixed term has expired. Please call one of our agents if you are considering leaving your property. When your tenancy is coming to an end we will contact you to discuss your renewal or termination options.

Q. I can't afford my rental payment this month, what should I do?
Firstly don't panic, in most cases we can in conjunction with your landlord allow you to make a rental payment on a different date, however you must contact us so we are aware that there is a problem. If you don't contact us you may incur late payment charges and even be evicted from your property.

Q. I want to make changes to the property I am renting, is this possible?
This depends on your landlord and what changes you wish to make. You must not make any changes without written approval from us or your landlord, failure to do so could affect your security deposit at the end of your tenancy. Please call us on 0845 643 5051 (local rate).

Q. Something has broken in the property, what should I do?
You must contact us if there are any problems with the property no matter how minor. If you or another tenant has caused damage you must still report this to us.

Q. I want to renew my tenancy
You will receive a renewal letter from us approximately 2 months before your existing tenancy is due for renewal. At this point you will have the option to renew for another fixed term contract, usually 6, 12, 24 or 36 months, renew on a rolling month by month contract (this must be approved by the landlord first) or end your tenancy and vacate the property.

Q. Where is my security deposit held?
In accordance with current government legislation your deposit is held securely at www.depositprotection.com, you will receive confirmation from the DPS along with your deposit ID and repayment ID, you must ensure you keep this information in a safe place as this will be needed at the end of your tenancy.
